The BAK-AG RiOn is a professional hot air plastic welding tool designed for demanding thermoplastic applications. The 230V, 1600W version is suitable for welding PVC and TPO roofing membranes, tarpaulins, vinyl flooring, technical films, plastic sheets and many other thermoplastic components.

This is not a standard household heat gun. The RiOn provides continuously adjustable temperature from 20 to 650C, an airflow of approximately 250 l/min and static pressure of approximately 3000 Pa. These specifications support controlled material heating and consistent professional weld seams.

Its ergonomic handle and approximate weight of 1.3 kg including the power cord make the tool comfortable to control during longer welding operations. The compact design provides access to corners, edges, narrow sections and repair areas where an automatic welding machine cannot be used.

This version is designed for 32 mm push-fit nozzles. It can be combined with 20 mm and 40 mm wide slot nozzles, angled nozzles, a 5 mm tubular nozzle, tacking nozzles and speed welding nozzles for plastic welding rod.
