PRODUCT WARRANTY
1. Warranty Period
- Standard products supplied by Techrom Industry Solutions SRL are covered by a 12-month warranty, calculated from the date of invoice issuance.
- Custom-made / special execution products are covered by a 6-month warranty from the invoice date.
- The warranty period shall not be extended or renewed following repairs or replacements.
2. Warranty Conditions
The warranty is valid only if the products are used and maintained properly, in accordance with:
- technical instructions
- specified operating parameters
- intended industrial use
The warranty applies exclusively to manufacturing or material defects.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty shall not apply in the following situations:
- improper or non-compliant use
- incorrect installation or inadequate electrical connections
- poor electrical contacts (loose wires, burned connectors, improper contact)
- incorrect power supply (overvoltage, lack of grounding, incorrect voltage)
- operation without proper working medium or insufficient level (water, oil, etc.)
- poor quality of working medium (hard water, impurities, corrosive substances, scale deposits)
- lack of periodic maintenance
- mechanical shocks, corrosion, rust, or aggressive chemical environments
- unauthorized interventions, modifications, or repairs
Examples not covered by warranty:
- heater damage caused by operation without water
- failures caused by limescale deposits
- defects resulting from improper installation
- failures caused by loose or faulty electrical connections
4. Limitation of Liability
- The warranty covers exclusively the repair or replacement of the defective product
- Techrom Industry Solutions SRL shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential damages
- commercial losses
- production downtime or operational costs
All products are intended for industrial use and must be operated by qualified personnel.
5. Legal Basis
This warranty policy complies with applicable Romanian and European legislation:
- Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 on the sale of goods and associated warranties
- Romanian Civil Code (art. 1707–1716 regarding liability for defects)
- Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods
6. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim:
- the claim must be submitted in writing
- the invoice must be provided
- the defective product must be sent to the seller for technical evaluation
After technical inspection:
- the product will be repaired or replaced if the defect is confirmed to be covered by warranty
