HERZ / BAK MiOn PRO is a professional hot-wedge welding machine for geomembranes, thermoplastic liners and membranes used in ponds, reservoirs, tunnels, civil-engineering and infrastructure projects. It is designed as a compact and flexible field machine where controlled temperature, welding speed and contact pressure are essential for repeatable seams.
The MiOn PRO operates on 230V with 1700W power, or 2450W with the preheating configuration. Welding temperature is adjustable from 20 to 430°C and travel speed is approximately 3 m/min. Maximum joining force is 1250N. The machine uses a 70 mm wedge, available with or without a test channel. Seam width without an inspection channel is 40 mm; with test channel the seam geometry is 17-16-17 mm. Maximum overlap is 120 mm.
Supported thermoplastics include PE-HD, PE-C, PP, PE-LD, PVC-P and PFA. For HDPE, the manufacturer indicates up to approximately 2.2 mm, while the general material-thickness range is 0.8-3 mm depending on material type and properties. Weight is approximately 9.9 kg for the tunnel configuration and 10.5 kg for civil-engineering use.
MiOn PRO is designed for job-site flexibility: the hot wedge can extend sideways, the handle pivots, automatic start is available, speed can be adjusted directly by potentiometer and ground clearance can be set in three levels. Options include actual contact-pressure display, hot-air preheating, a wedge without test channel and an eccentric holder for easier film threading during vertical welding.
