HERZ / BAK MiOn 2 is a compact professional hot-wedge welding machine for geomembranes and thermoplastic sheets. It is designed for demanding site work where controlled temperature, welding speed and contact pressure are essential, including tunnel construction, ponds, basins, fire-water reservoirs, civil engineering and waterproofing applications.
The machine operates at 230V and 900W, with a temperature range of 20–430°C and adjustable welding speed from 0.8 to 3.0 m/min. Maximum joining force is 1100 N. It is suitable for PE-HD, PE-C, PP, PE-LD, PVC-P and PFA, with guideline material thickness from 0.5 to 3.0 mm depending on the thermoplastic.
MiOn 2 uses a 60 mm hot wedge and is available with or without a test channel. Welding seam width without inspection channel is 40 mm; the test-channel version uses a 17–16–17 mm seam layout. Maximum overlap is 100 mm. Digital display of temperature and speed, plus electronically regulated temperature and drive, allow the operator to adapt the machine to the jobsite material.
