The BAK ProtOn WEDGE is a compact automatic hot-wedge welding machine developed for professional thermoplastic geomembrane welding in civil engineering, tunnels, reservoirs, ponds, canals, landfill projects, waterproofing and other GEO applications.
It is primarily designed for HDPE and LDPE geomembranes, while BAK also lists PP, ECB, EVA and TPO within its welding material range. The copper wedge transfers heat directly into the overlap, while temperature, speed and welding pressure can be adjusted continuously to match the material and job-site conditions.
Compact and easy to handle
At approximately 9.5 kg and 370 x 435 x 280 mm, the ProtOn WEDGE is designed for practical transportation and controlled operation on site. Its compact geometry also makes radius welding possible, which is useful where the membrane path is not completely straight.
