This German-made ceramic infrared radiator is used in machinery for thermoforming, plastics, film processing, packaging, drying, ovens and production lines where faster and more repeatable heating is required.
The FSF 800W keeps the compact body size of approximately 122 x 122 mm while delivering substantially more power than 400W or 600W versions. Its low-profile design is particularly useful in machines with limited installation space. Elstein states that the overall height of the FSF series is about 45% lower than comparable standard-socket panel radiators.
For the 800W version, Elstein lists a typical operating temperature of around 670 C and a surface rating of about 51.2 kW/m2. The infrared wavelength range is 2-10 micrometres and the standard supply is 230V. These figures make the 800W model suitable for applications where more energy must be transferred in a shorter time.
