For production lines that need faster heat input, the Elstein FSR/2 400W offers a stronger ceramic infrared source for continuous machinery and more demanding processes. Buyers may search for it as a 400W infrared heater, ceramic heating plate or machine heating element; in practice it is an Elstein ceramic radiant heater designed for non-contact process heating.
The standard version operates at 230V and reaches a typical operating temperature of up to about 670 C. Its infrared emission range is 2-10 micrometres, while the FSR series maximum permissible temperature is 750 C. The 400W output is well suited to thermoforming plastics, conveyor heating, packaging machinery, preheating stations and applications where material moves past the IR source and needs heat within a shorter cycle.
Compared with the 200W and 300W versions, this model is about higher thermal input and production pace. Correct distance to the target, exposure time, reflector design, ventilation and temperature regulation still depend on the machine and process. In HoReCa or food-industry equipment, use should be limited to properly engineered systems with suitable guarding and safe integration.
The FSR/2 400W is manufactured in Germany using full ceramic casting. Its concave shape separates the radiant body from the mounting plate, a useful feature when building compact IR panels. Stock availability supports both planned machine builds and urgent replacement work.
