The Herz GmbH tacking nozzle is designed for the preliminary fixing of thermoplastic sheets, films and components before the final welding operation. It helps keep the workpieces correctly positioned and reduces material movement during welding.
The nozzle has a push-fit mounting system and is installed on a compatible 5 mm tubular nozzle. Its shape directs hot air into a narrow area, allowing fast tack points without unnecessarily heating a large section of the material.
It is suitable for plastic tank fabrication, pipe work, thermoplastic sheets, membranes, repairs and general plastic welding applications. The accessory can be used in professional workshops, industrial production, service operations and on-site installations.
Preliminary tacking makes component alignment easier and prepares the joint for welding rod application or another hot air welding process. The 5 mm tubular nozzle and hot air tool are sold separately.
